Amberly sat on the bench during lunch time it was at the back of the school where hardly anyone goes to. She had jeans and a jumper on. Amberly took the pen knife out of her bag and rolled up her selves and cut, one by one she cut away, It felt good but she stopped herself from getting carried away. She put the knife back away in her bag and rolled her jumper down not noticing she had blood on her hands. She looked around then at her hands staring at the blood not saying or doing anything apart from staring. |

Jennifer was walking around the school again and she ended up at the back of the school, where she saw Amberly sitting alone there. She held something that looks like a pen knife and cut her arm. Jennifer shook her head. She must have been dreaming. Why would Amberly do such thing? She walked slowly towards her. "Um... hey?" she said. And then she saw the blood on Amberly's hands, which make her realize that she wasn't dreaming. "Am..." her voice sounded like a whisper. She stood there staring at Amberly's hands, not knowing what to do. |

Amberly heard someone talking to her she looked up seeing it was the new girl Jennifer, She looked at her in shock "Dont tell anyone please" she said to her putting the knife away in her bag and looking at Jennifer, She didnt think that anyone would see her doing that. No one knew about it, No one. Amberly's hands we're shaking in shock and she was getting really nervous. |

"But... why?" she sat beside Amberly. "Why would you hurt yourself like that?" she looked at Amberly with a worried look. "I know this is none of my business, and it's alright if you don't want to talk about it, but I'm just trying to help," she waited, waiting for Amberly's answer. |

Amberly looked at her and took a deep breath and said "When me and my sister fell into that lake a while ago and she hit her head i helped her i got her out of the water and got her to hospital, I got no thank you or well done i just got shouted at" she started "No one cares about me, My foster mum just cares about Cassie, I get ignored and Cassie gets everything, It just hurts me so much and i know cutting myself isnt the answer but it feels like it is" she said "You cant tell anyone about this, no one knows" she added |

Jennifer put her hand on Amberly's shoulder. "I know it's hard for you, but as you said, it's not right. You've got to stop it somehow, because if you're hurt, people around you get hurt too." she sighed. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." |

Amberly looked at her and nodded "Its fine, Just dont worry about it" she said "Whatever happens happens, maybe life isnt for me and my family, my mum and dad died in a car crash and my sister has memory lost and there's me wanting to die" she said and looked away. Holding tightly onto her bag. |

Amberly looked at Jennifer and then at there hands, Promise is a strong word she thought "I will try" she said to her, She couldnt promise anything not yet anyway. |

Jennifer smiled although she wasn't sure Amberly mean it. "So, wanna skip the rest of school time?" she said with a naughty smile on her face. She had never done it and she wants to do something new. |

Amberly looked at Jennifer and smiled "Sure" she said, She smiled again at Jennifer "Have you ever skipped school before?" she asked her wondering if Jennifer is a rebel or a good girl, Amberly has done it a few times. |

Jenny's face lightened up when Amberly agreed. "Well, I skipped class before, but never skipped school." she answered. "So what's it like? Skipping school, I mean," she asked Amberly. She somehow knew that Amberly had skipped school before. |

Amberly laughed a little noticing Jennifer knowing she has skipped school "Its ok, Its alot better than being in lessons and learning" she laughed and smiled at Jennifer. |
