Jennifer was bored at home and decided to go to the lake. There was not much people there, which is good. Less noise. She sat on the shadow of a very huge tree, protecting her from the sun. She watched kids playing with their parents. How she wished she could be like that. But now her dad are gone and she's staying with her stupid, skull headed, ugly looking aunt who nag at her the whole time without reasons. And her mom often went overseas and hardly spent a minute with her. And when she tried to talk to her, her mom will change the subject and talk about work instead. Her mom changed a lot after her father passed away. She wished that her dad is still here, so they can be one happy family. But she knew no one dead can rise from the ashes. Except the ones in the horror movies. She hugged her knees tightly, keeping her from crying. Crying? Since when did she cry? She blinked her tears back, and leaned against the tree, staring at the water in the lake blankly.

Cassie was out on her own- a rare thing, and had decided to try and get to grips of her old, but new in some ways, home. She had on her big coat, her jeans a white top with a dark blue cardigan over the top. Her hair hung loosley around her shoulders, since she couldn't be bovered putting it up. She had been to the park, which brought back early memories, the Stadium and now she had made her way to the Lake. Ever since she was young, she lovd to sit for hours just watching the Sun go down and the water whoosh around, but it was different now. The lake only brought back bad memories... well, from the stories she was told. She knew that this was were her and Amberly fell into the lake, causing her to have fatal Brain Damage. For her now, the Lake was an enemy. She walked close to the Lake, trying to look in, but she could never get within a metre close to it. She sighed heavily, and eventually gave up. She turned around, put her hood up and began to walk back. From the corner of her eye, she saw somebody crying and walked over to see if they were alright. As she got closer, she noticed it was Jennifer. "Hey Hey Jenny" she said softly, reaching out for her friend. She sat beside her and drew her into a hug, "Dont cry" she sooved.

Jennifer felt someone walking towards her but she ignored it. Who would anyone want to talk to her? She's just a little girl crying under a large tree. "Hey Hey Jenny" she heard a girl said to her. "Dont cry" The voice is familiar. But who is it? Mom? She felt her hands around her. She looked up and saw Cassie there. She felt disappointed and stupid. Her mom? here? That's just so stupid. Thinking about her mom makes her tears fall even more. She buried her face in her hands, sobbing. She hoped no one sees her like that, except Cassie who already has, of course. She doesn't like crying in front of the public. It is just too embarrassing. She leaned down more, waiting for her sobs to stop. "W-what are y-you doing h-here?" she finally asked, still sobbing.
